Last Friday was Colorado Mountain College Rifle's 50th anniversary celebration and art show, and two of my pieces were accepted into the show! there were two parts of the show, a student side, and a juried side. The student show displayed work from ALL of the students who entered. Regardless of the piece, all students were entered into the show. The juried show was more selective, in that only the top chosen pieces were chosen to be in the show. I had a piece in both.Read More
So it has been a wild ride for me in these last few months, specifically the last one. I have been so incredibly busy with shows, and festivals and traveling, and on top of that, school starting back up again and getting back into my regular job at CMC. Three major events that are usually spaced out about a month apart were rescheduled to all be in the same month. I went to Farmageddon Fest in Wisconsin, a couple weeks later, Riot Fest in Denver, and only one week later was Muddy Roots in Tennessee. School started back up the week before Riot Fest, so it has been a hell of a time trying to get back into work/school mode while still in the midst of Festival Season. I had to take a week off to go to TN, and because of that I am a week behind in my classes, so I need to catch up with my school work as well. Not a good way to start the semester...
Don't get me wrong, this has been an AMAZING summer of music, so many crazy adventures, but I am having a very difficult time keeping up with projects, sleep, functionality, school, etc. etc. I am desperately trying to get back into some sort of normality and structure, but that is never a constant in my life. The second I get comfortable in any setting, all of a sudden things change and I get all shuffled again. But that is my crazy life, and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world!!
I guess what I am trying to get at, is life has been a roller coaster lately, much much more than usual, so it is going to take me a bit of time to get caught up with some of these projects. I want to share my work and experiences from Farmageddon, Riot Fest, and Muddy Roots, as well as some other events that happened this summer. I also want to get my radio show going again since I've been too busy to keep up with that, and I want to use these experiences to share through my show. And I don't want to half-ass anything, so I will be working on these as time allows. So be on the look out for these future posts, and hopefully it won't take too long to get "caught up," whatever that means......
So for the last 6 months or so I have been anxiously trying to get an assignment to shoot Motley Crue's final show in Denver (assuming they don't keep extending their farewell tour) and I have been coming up empty with every single attempt. After a while, I just accepted that it is beyond my level, and I won't be able to shoot them ever in my lifetime.Read More
Just put in my order for my books, which will be available at this year's Farm Fest!! Though I was only able to order a limited amount. I can't say how fast these books will go. If you want to reserve your copy today, you can visit the shop page to purchase and reserve your copy. You can pick it up at the festival, or they will be shipped out after my return home. There are some awesome specials in the store that are not available anywhere else, and the more books you buy the more you save. There are also some leftover back packages still available that have been slashed as well. All books come with a limited edition poster sized print and digital eBook. Check it out and I will see you at Farm Fest 2015!!!!!

I've been reading some good stuff so far, but I need more, so please keep them coming!!! you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or use the contact page to send me your quotes. There is no limit to the amount of words, but try not to write a novel. I will be putting in the order on monday morning and do not want to have any stragglers. Got it?
The best part? My absolute favoritest quote will get an electronic copy of the book for FREE!!
For more info, please feel free to email me with any questions. Also, if you want to reserve a copy to make sure you get it at the fest you can visit the shop page to pre-order the book of your choice. There is VERY limited amount of books, and I cannot gaurantee that there will be any left after the festival, so it may be wise to order before. Thanks for all of your support and I look forward to seeing you all at the fest!!! Cheers!!!!
