So for the last 6 months or so I have been anxiously trying to get an assignment to shoot Motley Crue's final show in Denver (assuming they don't keep extending their farewell tour) and I have been coming up empty with every single attempt. After a while, I just accepted that it is beyond my level, and I won't be able to shoot them ever in my lifetime.Read More
Hey FARM FAMILY!!! I want your quotes!!! i don't care if their used, rotten, filthy, and stinky! I want your damn dirty quotes!!!
I'm putting the finishing touches on my 2014 book RIGHT NOW, and want to fill it with your glorious words of wisdom on what makes this Festival and family so great! I've been reading some good stuff so far, but I need more, so please keep them coming!!! you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or use the contact page to send me your quotes. There is no limit to the amount of words, but try not to write a novel. (Only James Hunnicutt is allowed to do that ;) ) Be sure to leave your name somewhere so I know who I am quoting, and your email so I can double check if needed. try to get them to me by sunday at midnight AT THE VERY LATEST. I will be putting in the order on monday morning and do not want to have any stragglers. Got it?
The best part? My absolute favoritest quote will get an electronic copy of the book for FREE!!
For more info, please feel free to email me with any questions. Also, if you want to reserve a copy to make sure you get it at the fest you can visit the shop page to pre-order the book of your choice. There is VERY limited amount of books, and I cannot gaurantee that there will be any left after the festival, so it may be wise to order before. Thanks for all of your support and I look forward to seeing you all at the fest!!! Cheers!!!!
A new episode of Standard Issue is streaming now! Check out the Radio page for more info.
Been laying low for the last few weeks, since my graduation. My last semester was by far my hardest, and keeping a part time job on top of that wasn't easy either. So it took a while to de-compress after school was over. I also started a new job, survived a computer crash, and underwent a minor surgical procedure, so it has been a crazy couple of weeks. But I'm back now, and I made up for it by producing my longest show yet. Please share with your friends and also let me know what you think! I put a lot of work into these shows, and I would really like to hear your feedback. Thanks for listening!!!
It's been a few months in the works, but it has finally been made official...you are now looking at the newest music photographer for Noise Wire Magazine!!!! NWM is a small, web-based publication out of Chicago. They promote music, art and culture and have big plans to expand across the US. I am very excited to start working with them and hopefully getting access to some rad shows this summer!!
Out of the hundreds of applications they received. I was at the top of their list as far as quality of work, and I was also one of the only applicants that continued to inquire about the position. This is a huge deal for me, and a great compliment to me as a photographer!!
Check out their website at http://www.noisewiremag.com/ and follow them on facebook and instagram for future posts featuring yours truly!!
you can also contact me at email@example.com!!!! super stoked!!!!!
So I got to photograph one of my favorite bands in the world. A band that I grew up listening to, and basically molded me into the person I am today. And I'm not just talking about sneaking my camera in and shooting from the crowd, (yes, this happened the first time I saw this band!) I got a legit photo pass and got to shoot from in front of the stage. I got extremely lucky, and landed the gig last minute when LUD's photographer ended up shooting Jane's Addiction instead (THANK YOU)
I'm talking about the almighty metal gods, JUDAS PRIEST!!! One of my biggest and most meaningful accomplishments in my life so far. What a feeling.....
Also, here is the review I wrote of the show. Let me know what you think!
