The CMC 50th anniversary art show made the front page of the paper. But the best part??? You can see a sliver of my photo behind the man in the picture 😂😂😂 take a look below!! And check out the article here.
Last Friday was Colorado Mountain College Rifle's 50th anniversary celebration and art show, and two of my pieces were accepted into the show! there were two parts of the show, a student side, and a juried side. The student show displayed work from ALL of the students who entered. Regardless of the piece, all students were entered into the show. The juried show was more selective, in that only the top chosen pieces were chosen to be in the show. I had a piece in both.Read More
As they called my name up onto the stage at graduation on Saturday, I climbed up the stairs, turned around and cheered on my fellow graduates before snapping this photo. Their reaction was priceless.
It was an honor and a privelidge to walk with all these fine, brilliant young minds on Saturday. Graduation was a magical experience, and I would not trade that day for anything else! Congrats to everyone in this photo, may all your dreams and aspirations become your reality!!!
Soooo tomorrow is the big day!! I will be graduating with my second associate's degree, this time for Graphic Design, and I will be walking during CMC's graduation ceremony!! I am pretty nervous, but at the same time, it isn't really a super big deal to me. Last year I graduated with my Photography degree, and I don't plan to be done as a student just yet. So I'm sure this will not be my last. But it still feels pretty good to celebrate and share the stage with my classmates and all of the other graduates from this amazing school! I can't thank this amazing faculy for all that they have done to help me succeed. It blows me away that so many people will go so far to help students fulfill their dreams. I know that is their job, but it's really hard to find people like that these days, people that will do anything to help those that reach for it. I'm so proud to call this place my home, Colorado Mountain College is the best place ever!!
If anyone is interested in attending, I have 5 invitations available. We're only allowed 5 guests because of the capacity of the event, and you need the invitation to attend, but I have no one else coming, so anyone who wants one is welcome to have it. Just hit me up on here or my cellular tellular if you have those digits. Otherwise, this awesome school will be live streaming the event for anyone that cannot attend. I remember last year there were people from China and Russia and Australia watching their kids graduate, so that is pretty cool! if this is something you are interested in, just click the link below to get connected. The ceremony starts at 11am Mountain time, May 2.
To the next step!!!!! Whatever that may be....lol
Welp. Here we go again...
That's right, I will be presenting YET ANOTHER portfolio from the Isaacson School for New Media this year. Last December I presented my portfolio from the Professional Photography program, and today I will be presenting my portfolio from the Graphic Design program at CMC. It will not be as good as my Photography portfolio, as photography is where my main passion lies, but I have worked very hard on this portfolio, and am very proud of the work I have created. I will also be unveiling a new website, one that will showcase not only my photography work, but graphic design and video work as well.
So come and check out what I've been up to!! And be sure to check out the other amazing photographers, designers, and artists that are coming out of these amazing programs!
